Far West NSW Local Health District in Broken Hill is seeking an Aboriginal Service Manager for Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs to lead the Aboriginal MHAOD workforce and shape services for local communities.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for rural issues at a state level to ensure Aboriginal Services are supported and considered with policy changes.
• Provide strategic planning advice to Senior MHAOD Management and Extended Executive Leadership team in consultation with Directors.
• Provide clinical leadership in Aboriginal Mental Health service provision, including supervision and coaching to the Aboriginal Clinical Leader and Aboriginal Trainees.
