Job summary

Savers is hiring for part-time team members to join our recycling and production (warehouse) team at our Camperdown store. You will support the production process, ensure items are diverted from landfill, and help maintain workstation supplies while meeting daily targets.

The role requires teamwork, a customer-focused mindset, and a willingness to learn. On-site work with a fast-moving environment and active involvement in safety practices is expected.

Qualifications

• Availability for part-time hours, Monday to Friday, 7.00am–3.30pm.
• Experience in fast-paced environments such as retail, production, warehousing or hospitality is a plus.
• Able to work collaboratively in a team and support daily targets.
• Respect for diverse backgrounds and a willingness to contribute to the team.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the production team and maintain workflow.
• Keep sellable and recyclable items out of landfill.
• Replenish hangers and stationery for workstations.
• Meet daily production targets with your team.
• Support a strong safety culture on site.
• Assist unloading trucks and operating balers, bin lifters and walkie stackers.

About the Role

Reporting to the Production Manager at our Camperdown store, we are recruiting for team members/store people to join our recycling and production (warehouse) team.

A typical day might include:

• Providing support to the production team
• Keeping sellable and recyclable item out of landfill
• Replenishment of hangers and stationery for each workstation
• Working with your team to make sure you all meet daily production targets
• Supporting our safety culture
• Recyclers are also required to unload trucks and operate industrial equipment including balers, bin lifters and walkie stackers
• Meeting and engaging with our wonderful customers and donors, and sharing the Savers story with them to ensure they receive excellent service and have a meaningful Savers experience

About You

To ensure you can hit the ground running, you will have a mix of the following:
