Job summary

NSW Health at Blacktown Hospital is opening a new 20-bed Low Secure Forensic Mental Health Inpatient Unit. We are recruiting an Enrolled Nurse to join a specialist MDT and deliver recovery-focused nursing care from day one.

You will provide direct nursing care, support daily living activities, and contribute to a safe, therapeutic environment under RN supervision. WA? AHPRA registration is required.

Qualifications

• Relevant and recent clinical experience deemed appropriate by WSLHD.
• Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.
• Demonstrated effective communication skills both written and verbal.
• Effective interpersonal skills showing initiative and leadership.
• Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to continuing professional development and demonstrated ability to utilise information technology within a variety of applications and willingness to undertake training.

Responsibilities

• As an Enrolled Nurse, you'll provide high-quality direct nursing care under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse, supporting patients throughout their treatment and recovery journey.
