A healthcare provider in Town Of Cambridge is looking for a Receptionist to manage welcoming duties, oversee clinic flow, and support the team. Ideal candidates should have experience in customer service, particularly in a healthcare setting, and possess the required qualifications in English and Maths. This role promises to be rewarding, interacting with patients and providing essential support to the medical team.
This new role will cover all main reception duties acting as the welcoming face of the GP practice. Working with people including the frail / elderly and those with long term conditions as well as supporting the teams within the practice.
Please note there is no on site parking for this role.
Welcome patients and visitors to the practice providing a professional and efficient service. Overseeing the flow of clinics and communicating effectively with patients and internal staff. Providing admin support to the Patient Services Team.
Located in central Cambridge Lensfield Medical Practice is a friendly and welcoming surgery looking after around 15000 patients.
We have a multi-disciplinary team comprising of GP's, Nurses, HCA's GP Registrars, Pharmacy Team, Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Paramedic.
Our clinical teams are supported by our Patient Services Team and Administrators.
To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception and administrative duties and the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties include but are not limited to, greeting and directing patients, patient registration, booking appointments, processing of information (electronic and hard copy) and assisting patients as required. To act as the central point of contact for patients, the distribution of information, messages and enquiries for the clinical team, liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers.
