Permanent Position

Pro-Rata Salary Range of $55k Base to $58k Base (dependent on experience, skills and capabilities)

Plus 12% Superannuation and access to Not-for-Profit Salary Packaging with a value of up to $15,900. (more information provided below).

The Opportunity :

We are seeking a professional and approachable Receptionist to join our team. This role is the first point of contact for visitors and clients.

The Receptionist position will greet and assist visitors, answer and direct phone calls ensuring the reception area is always presented to a high standard. You will coordinate meeting room bookings, organise meetings, order and maintain office supplies and provide general administration support to keep our office running smoothly.

This is a full time opportunity, five days per week based in our purpose-built location in the Health Translation Hub in Randwick, NSW.

Key Responsibilities and Duties :
  • Handling incoming calls, internal and external mail, and document archiving
  • Greeting and signing in visitors
  • Maintaining and organising Reception area, office equipment
  • Organising and presenting catering and other support for various meetings
  • Organising taxis and couriers
  • Organising maintenance for general building issues
  • Stationery ordering
  • Distributing access and ID cards for staff
  • Allocating lockers
  • Maintain and update databases as required
  • Assist with meeting room bookings
  • Finance administration such as purchase orders and credit card purchases
  • Assist the office administration team with all general administrative functions
  • Other office management tasks as required

Skills, Knowledge and Experience / Our Successful Candidate
  • Experience in managing a busy reception area
  • Experience in a corporate environment
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, Powerpoint and Outlook
  • The ability to learn quickly
  • Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Availability for 5 days per week in the office
