Job summary

Connex Education is seeking an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic primary school in the Wavertree area of Liverpool. The role is full-time, in a Reception class, supporting a pupil 1:1 with additional needs, including ASD and challenging behaviour.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 3:30, with immediate start and potential for permanent recruitment. The successful candidate will build positive relationships, maintain professional standards and contribute to an inclusive,

Qualifications

• Level 2/3 TA qualification desirable; relevant school experience considered.
• GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent Level 2.
• Current DBS on update service or willingness to apply for a new one.
• Experience in EYFS and with SEN pupils.

Responsibilities

• Support a pupil in a Reception class on a 1:1 basis.
• Work with a team of support staff to deliver learning activities.
• Adhere to safeguarding, confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Maintain consistent learning and behaviour expectations.
