Join a close, supportive team shooting commercial property across Sydney, with booked work and a path to ongoing roles.

Key selling points:

• Steady, pre-booked work, so you don’t chase clients
• Backed by a team that cares about your growth

About us

Empire Creative is a Sydney-based photography and property marketing business. We work with leading commercial real estate agencies, producing the photography and floorplans that help properties get leased and sold. We’re growing, and we’re looking for someone to join our team and grow with us.

The role

You’ll be booked for on-site shoots across Sydney. On each job you will:

• Photograph commercial, industrial and office properties, both interior and exterior
• Measure and capture the property for accurate floorplans
• Upload files by the deadline using our standard process and file naming
• Work with our production team and outsourced editors, who handle post-production

Who we’re looking for

We’re a small, close team, and we’re not after someone to clock in, shoot and clock out. We want someone who wants to belong, who cares about the people they work with, and who takes pride in work they can put their name to.

Our values

• We look after each other. We share the load, step in when a teammate needs help, and celebrate wins together.
• We’re always improving. We give and receive honest, kind feedback, because that’s how everyone gets better.
• We care about the work. Every shoot and floorplan carries our name and our clients’ reputations, so we get the details right.
• We say what we mean. We communicate openly, raise problems early and own our mistakes.

You’ll fit in if you are:

• Team-minded. You’d rather win as a group than on your own, and you share what you learn.
• Eager to grow. You’re curious, keen to learn new techniques and tools, and ambitious about where your skills can go.
• Open to feedback. You listen without getting defensive, act on it, and you’re equally generous when giving it.
• Reliable and accountable. You turn up on time, do what you said you’d do, and tell us early if something’s wrong.
• Professional but warm. Agents and property managers enjoy working with you, and you represent us well on site.
• Detail-focused. You notice the little things, like straight verticals, tidy rooms and accurate measurements.
• Invested in the long term. You’re looking for a place to build a career with a team that backs you, not a short-term gig.

What you’ll bring

• Professional real estate or commercial photography experience (please send a portfolio)
• Experience producing floorplans, whether measured on site or with a scanning tool such as [Matterport / laser measure / other]
• Your own professional camera, lenses, lighting and a reliable vehicle
• Strong wide-angle interior technique and a good eye for consistent, clean results
• Current ABN and public liability insurance (for the contract role)

Nice to have

• Drone licence (CASA RePL/ReOC) and drone experience
• Twilight and exterior shoot experience
• Video or 3D tour experience

What we offer

• Regular, booked work with reputable clients
• A friendly, supportive team with regular coaching and honest feedback

A pathway to more.

This role starts as a contract, but for the right person we’re open to moving to part-time or full-time employment as the business grows. We’d love to hear what kind of arrangement you’re looking for.
