Job summary

Zoom Recruitment is seeking experienced High Reach forklift operators for our Truganina warehouse in Melbourne. Immediate starts, Monday to Friday, with Day or Afternoon shifts available and competitive hourly rates.

Successful applicants will hold a current LF forklift licence and proven High Reach experience in fast-paced environments, with a focus on safety, accuracy and productivity.

Qualifications

• Current and valid LF Forklift Licence.
• Recent High Reach forklift operating experience.
• Experience in a busy warehouse or distribution centre.
• Ability to meet productivity and accuracy KPIs.
• Strict adherence to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate High Reach forklifts safely and efficiently.
• High-volume forklift order picking up to 150 picks per hour.
• Move, stack and replenish palletised stock.
• Load, unload and relocate pallets throughout the warehouse.
• Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
• Maintain stock accuracy and follow procedures.
• Work toward daily productivity and accuracy KPIs.

SHIFTS & PAY RATES

DAY SHIFT – FROM $40 PER HOUR

• Monday to Friday – 6:00am – 2:00pm

AFTERNOON SHIFT – FROM $45 PER HOUR

• Monday to Friday – 2:00pm – 10:00pm

THE ROLE – PUT YOUR FORKLIFT SKILLS TO WORK!

We’re looking for confident High Reach operators who know their way around a warehouse and can maintain speed, accuracy and safety in a high-volume environment.

Your duties will include:

• Operating High Reach forklifts safely and efficiently
• High-volume forklift order picking, with targets of up to 150 picks per hour
• Moving, stacking and replenishing palletized stock
• Loading, unloading and relocating pallets throughout the warehouse
• Picking and placing stock at various racking heights
• Using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
• Working towards daily productivity and accuracy KPIs
• Maintaining stock accuracy and following warehouse procedures
• Ensuring safe forklift operation and maintaining a clean, organized work area

This is a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment, so we’re looking for operators who are confident, efficient, and comfortable working to high productivity targets!

To be successful, you MUST have:

• Current and valid LF Forklift Licence
• Proven, recent High Reach forklift operating experience – ESSENTIAL
• Previous experience in a busy warehouse or distribution centre
• Experience meeting productivity and accuracy KPIs

Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

A positive, hardworking attitude and willingness to get the job done!

All successful applicants must hold a National Police Check issued within the last 6 months or be willing to obtain one as part of the recruitment process.
