Department of Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation QLD – Urangan QLD is seeking a Ranger at OO5 level to lead compliance and enforcement within the Great Sandy Marine Park. You’ll guide operations on-water and respond to wildlife strandings, while coordinating with partners and communities to balance safety and conservation.
You’ll manage a small team, deliver hands-on conservation projects, and collaborate with First Nations and agencies to protect cultural and natural assets.

Join our maritime operations team as a OO5 Ranger - Compliance and help manage the spectacular Great Sandy Marine Park, where no two days are ever the same. One day you could be leading on-water compliance operations; the next, responding to marine wildlife strandings or protecting culturally significant sites.

Work alongside Traditional Owners and partner agencies including Department of Fisheries and Maritime Safety Queensland. Contribute ideas that improve safety, efficiency and environmental outcomes.
