The Shire of East Pilbara invites applications for a Ranger to join our team in Western Australia. This role operates on a 7-day rotating roster with after-hours on-call and alternating weekends, supporting community compliance and public safety across Newman and surrounding towns.

Ideal candidates will have ROC I & II, Fire Control Officer training (or willingness to complete), and relevant certifications (Firearms, Snake Handling, First Aid). Substantial benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication; able to use IT and communications equipment.
• Completion of Regulatory Officer Compliance Skills (ROCs) I and II.
• Fire Control Officer course (or able to complete).
• Firearms Handling and Awareness Certification (or able to obtain).
• Snake Handling and Awareness Certification (or able to obtain).
• First Aid Certificate (or higher).
