Swissport is seeking Ramp Service Agents and Baggage Handlers to support airport operations on the tarmac, handling baggage and cargo, and performing cabin cleaning tasks as needed.

You will work in a safety-focused environment with a flexible schedule, including early mornings, late shifts, and weekends, to align with airline timetables.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, 24 hours a day.
• Good physical fitness for lifting up to 32kg.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on safety.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn and grow.
• Australian Citizen/Resident with unlimited work rights.
• Possession of a valid Australian driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload aircraft baggage efficiently.
• Safely transfer luggage to and from aircraft.
• Handle baggage weighing up to 35kg repetitively.
• Operate in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth operations, including sorting, loading, and unloading baggage and cargo accurately.
• Manage baggage flow for departing and arriving flights using sorting equipment and manual handling techniques effectively.
