Job summary

Mackay Sugar in North Queensland seeks a Track Maintenance Worker to join the Cane Railway Safety Team, reporting to the Cane Railway Supervisor. You will help achieve targets for safety, quality and productivity while building strong relationships with team members.

Requirements include a Queensland MR minimum driver’s licence and a White Card; training for railway track maintenance and related licences is desirable. The role offers job security, long leave, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Hold a Queensland MR driver’s licence and a White Card.
• Experience or willingness to obtain railway track maintenance qualifications and related licences.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cane railway track safety, quality and productivity targets.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships within the Track Maintenance Team.
• Report to the Cane Railway Supervisor and work as part of a permanent, full-time team.
