Job summary

Honeywell Technologies seeks an experienced SESA Engineer to coordinate safety and systems engineering deliverables across a major rail project. You will collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, customer and contractor teams to ensure timely, compliant outcomes.

The role emphasizes risk-based SME input, requirements management, and adherence to project lifecycle milestones from planning through handover to operations and maintenance, with site-based engagement at North Ryde, NSW.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ experience in the management of SESA deliverables in a Rail Project environment.
• Experience in supporting risk assessments, workplace inspections, hazard identifications, workshops and other SESA related activities.
• Degree in Engineering or related discipline from an Australian University or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, design, development, tracking and writing of SESA deliverables.
• Manage SESA deliverables including requirements management, hazard log management, RAM integration and related reports.
• Work with Design Package leads and SMEs to elicit derived requirements from stakeholders.
• Review design and construction changes for SESA impact.
• Identify and manage safety changes instigated by other contractors and clients.
• Coordinate workshops and track SESA deliverables across the project lifecycle.
