Responsibilities

• Implement and manage safe working requirements in accordance with ARTC Network Rules and Procedures.
• Provide ARTC rail protection and safeworking support for work groups.
• Conduct rail safety briefings and maintain safety documentation.
• Coordinate with construction supervisors, rail traffic crews and other stakeholders.
• Identify and control rail-related risks on site.
• Maintain high standards of safety, communication and professionalism.

We are seeking experienced Protection Officers (PO2 and above) and Safeworking Officers Level 1 & Level 2 to join our team based locally across the Riverina region. This is long-term rail maintenance and infrastructure work with consistent and reliable shifts for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage safe working requirements in accordance with ARTC Network Rules and Procedures
• Provide ARTC rail protection and safeworking support for work groups
• Conduct rail safety briefings and maintain safety documentation
• Coordinate with construction supervisors, rail traffic crews and other stakeholders
• Identify and control rail-related risks on site
• Maintain high standards of safety, communication and professionalism

What We're Looking For

• Current PO2, PO3 or PO4 competency OR Safeworking Officer Level 1 or Level 2
• Current RIW card
• Current Category 1 Rail Medical
• Must reside in the Riverina Region
• Strong communication and situational awareness
• Proven experience working on rail networks
• Commitment to rail safety and safe working protocols
• Ability to work in a team-focused, fast-paced project environment
