Job summary

Pacific National in North Sydney is seeking a Workforce Coordinator to join the Intermodal team. This permanent role offers a rotating lifestyle roster, full training, and a pathway into rail and logistics. No prior rail experience is required, just a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.

You will coordinate crew and assets, maintain rosters, and work with internal teams to keep freight moving safely and efficiently across Australia. Training and support are provided to help you succeed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and allocate more than 500 train crew, 1,400 wagons and 130 locomotives in line with daily operational plans.
• Maintain and update crew rosters, adapting quickly to changes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to place the right people and assets.
• Monitor operations and identify disruptions, proposing practical solutions.
• Support process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
