Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a New Graduate Radiology Technologist for Platte Valley Hospital in Brighton, CO. This PRN role offers 10 hours on Monday or Thursday and an hourly pay range of $29.43–$32.63 depending on radiology experience.

As part of the imaging team, you will produce x-ray images, assist with portable procedures, and ensure film processing for radiologists. Commitment to patient care and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an approved radiological training program.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Produce x-ray images of specified body areas as directed by the physician/radiologist and position patients accordingly.
• Perform x-ray procedures using portable machines for Emergency Department and nursing units as requested.
• Process films for radiologists' interpretation and communicate with patients and healthcare team.
• Maintain x-ray and other equipment in good order; arrange preventative maintenance and contact service for major malfunctions.
• Promote effective working relations and collaborate within and across departments to meet goals.
