Job summary

Qscan Group's Tamworth clinic is seeking a dedicated Radiographer for a full-time, 12-month maternity leave cover. You will deliver General X-Ray and CT examinations in a remote radiology setting, working independently within a supportive network and providing compassionate, patient-centred care to the local community.

You will hold current AHPRA registration, NSW Radiation Use Licence, and demonstrate proficiency across CT procedures with cannulation skills.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Radiographer.
• Valid NSW Radiation Use Licence.
• Demonstrated experience in General X-Ray and CT.
• Cannulation skills for contrast-enhanced examinations.
• Ability to work independently within a remote radiology environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

What's the role?

We are seeking a dedicated Radiographer to join our Tamworth clinic on a full-time, max-term basis for a 12-month maternity leave cover.

This role offers a diverse and rewarding rural caseload across General X-Ray and CT, working within a supportive team environment and utilising modern imaging technology. You will play an important role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to the local community while enjoying the benefits of regional living.

The successful candidate must be able to work independently within a remote radiology environment and demonstrate confidence managing a varied workload.

You Will

• Provide compassionate, patient-centred care while maintaining patient welfare, dignity and confidentiality
• Perform General X-Ray and CT examinations to a high clinical standard
• Be proficient across all CT procedures
• Cannulate patients confidently and safely for contrast-enhanced examinations
• Work effectively within a remote radiology environment, collaborating with radiologists and clinical teams across the network
• Interpret imaging requests in accordance with clinical protocols and legislative requirements
• Maintain exceptional image quality and clinical accuracy
