Job summary

A healthcare provider in New South Wales is looking for a Casual Radiographer Level 2. You will perform radiographic imaging across various facilities as well as ensure compliance with health and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Medical Radiation Science and be registered with the AHPRA. Qualifications

A NSW Health agency may require further information about the medical contraindication (including but not limited to an Immunisation Medical Exemption form – IM011 form).

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.

Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.

Selection Criteria to be addressed :
  • Possess the following qualifications: 1. A Degree in Medical Radiation Science in Diagnostic Radiography 2. Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) as a Medical Radiation Practitioner. 3. I14 Radiation Licence from NSW EPA
  • Previous experience in a hospital environment such as General, Theatre, CT, Mobile, CT and Trauma Radiography
  • Demonstrated understanding of Work, Health and Safety, and Infection Control in a Radiology context
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and manage time effectively in a clinical environment
