Job summary

Queensland X-Ray (QXR) is hiring a full-time Radiographer to join our Townsville team. You will support private practices offering General X-Ray, CT, Mammography, Fluoroscopy, MRI, BMD and Dentascan procedures, working with Sonography and Nuclear Medical departments.

Our Townsville team operates on a rotating roster including weekends and on-call work. We provide ongoing upskilling, a supportive culture and opportunities for career progression within Sonic Healthcare.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA Registration and QLD Radiation Use Licence or willing to obtain.
• Passion for providing excellent customer service and patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sharp attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to make decisions and work well under pressure.
• Friendly, caring and compassionate nature.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• A radiographer delivering high-level medical imaging clinical services.

Responsibilities

• Work across General X-Ray, CT, Mammography, Fluoroscopy, MRI, BMD and Dentascan procedures.
• Collaborate with Sonography and Nuclear Medical departments for integrated imaging.
• Engage in upskilling and career progression within Queensland X-Ray.

About The Role

Queensland X-Ray (QXR) is looking for full-time Radiographers to join our team and support our practices in the Townsville region. This opportunity allows you to work across fully comprehensive private practices which offer services including General X-Ray, CT, Mammography, Fluoroscopy, MRI, BMD and Dentascan procedures, working in conjunction with our Sonography and Nuclear Medical departments. You'll have exposure to a lot of variety in different modalities with the opportunity for upskilling and career progression.
