Job summary

Qscan Radiologic Clinics is seeking an experienced Radiographer with mammography experience to join our Toowong-based team (0.8 FTE), with support to Windsor Breast Clinic. The role covers mammography and general imaging across a growing women’s imaging service.

You will work with a highly skilled radiology team, ensuring patient comfort and safety, ALARA principles, and opportunities for professional development in CT and Cone Beam training.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in mammography (essential).
• AHPRA registration as Radiographer.
• Commitment to patient-centred care.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• High attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Current Radiation Use Licence (or ability to obtain).
• Full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Performing high-quality mammography and general imaging examinations.
• Supporting breast imaging services, including interventional procedures where required.
• Delivering exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort, safety and confidentiality.
• Maintaining imaging and radiation safety standards (ALARA).
• Working collaboratively with radiologists and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Contributing to professional development and upskilling.

What’s the role?

We are seeking an experienced Radiographer with mammography experience to join our team on a permanent part-time (0.8 FTE) basis, primarily based at Toowong with required support to our Windsor Breast Clinic.

You will play a key role in supporting our growing women’s imaging service, helping meet increasing community demand. The role offers exposure to a diverse caseload across mammography and general imaging, within a modern and well-supported clinical environment.

Clinical responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Performing high-quality mammography and general imaging examinations
• Supporting breast imaging services, including interventional procedures where required
• Delivering exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort, safety and confidentiality
• Maintaining high imaging and radiation safety standards (ALARA principles)
• Working collaboratively with radiologists and the wider multidisciplinary team
• Contributing to continuous professional development and upskilling
