Job summary

Queensland Health's Redland Hospital is seeking a skilled Radiographer to deliver high-quality, patient-centred radiography services across CT, Emergency, Theatre and Fluoroscopy, with opportunities to work across shift rosters.

You will collaborate with an interprofessional team, apply clinical knowledge within safety standards, contribute to student education and service improvement, and support ongoing professional development in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based radiography services across a broad range of clinical areas, including CT, Emergency, Theatre and Fluoroscopy, with opportunities to work across early, late, on-call and continuous shift rosters.
• Apply your clinical knowledge and increasingly independent judgement while working within established clinical protocols, radiation safety requirements and professional standards.
• Work collaboratively within an interprofessional team, building positive relationships with patients, families, carers, students and other health professionals to achieve excellent patient-centred outcomes.
• Contribute to student education, clinical supervision, quality improvement, service development and research activities, with support from experienced senior staff.

Join the Medical Imaging team at Redland Hospital and deliver high-quality, patient-centred radiography services across a diverse range of clinical settings. You will:

Medical Imaging Department Bayside Health Service

Redland Hospital Medical Imaging Service provides a 24-hour service to provide clinical support service to medical staff, clinical departments, and surrounding community. The Medical Imaging Department provides general and emergency x-ray, CT (including interventional procedures), ultrasound and associated special procedure services. Bayside Health Service are planning to introduce an onsite MRI service in 2027.
