Job summary

I-MED Radiology Network in Launceston is seeking an experienced Radiographer to join our team across multiple sites. You will drive high-quality imaging services, including General X-Ray, CT and theatre, with MRI training an advantage but not essential.

Reporting to the Chief Radiographer, this full-time role offers a supportive environment, diverse cases, and opportunities for upskilling. Weekend/on-call work may be required.)

Qualifications

• Current Radiography licence and professional registration.
• Qualification in Medical Imaging Technology/Diagnostic Radiography.
• Ability to work with diverse health professionals.

Responsibilities

• Operate medical imaging equipment across multiple sites (General X-Ray, CT, theatre).
• Deliver high levels of patient care and service.
• Maintain relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers.
• Promote and uphold safety and quality standards.
• Upskill in Cath Lab and/or MRI for suitable candidates.

Our clinics in Launceston are currently seeking an experienced Radiographer to join our team! As the area's main provider of radiology services, you will be exposed to a multitude of unique and interesting cases, in both a public hospital and busy outpatient clinic environment.

Reporting to the Chief Radiographer, in this role you will be responsible for driving high quality and efficient imaging services across a range of modalities including General X-Ray, CT and theatre. MRI and/or Cath lab training will be an advantage but not essential.

The role is a Full-Time permanent position (with Part-Time being considered) working Monday to Friday with hours ranging from 7:30am – 8:00pm, with weekend and on call work as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing patients and operating specialised medical imaging equipment such as General X-Ray, CT and theatre across 4 sites.
• Consistently delivering high levels of patient care and service
• Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers
• Promoting and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards
• Opportunity for upskilling in Cath Lab and/or MRI for the right candidates

Key Selection Criteria

• Current relevant Radiography Radiation licence and professional registration
• Appropriate qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology/Diagnostic Medical Radiography
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff
• Previous experience in MRI is an advantage, but training in MRI may be offered to the right candidate
