NSW Health is seeking a Radiation Therapist at Westmead Hospital to join a multidisciplinary team. You will deliver precise radiation therapy, work closely with Radiation Oncologists and nurses, and participate in planning, QA, and clinical improvements in a fast-evolving cancer care setting.

The role is permanent full-time (35 hours per week) with a salary range of AU$82,250.65 to AU$113,302.11 per annum. Applicants must be eligible for AHPRA registration and hold a relevant radiation therapy

Competenze

• Graduate of Medical Radiation Science - Radiation Therapy program accredited by ARPA? (from NSW Health posting)
• Eligible for AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Therapist
• Demonstrated knowledge of radiation therapy quality assurance and radiation safety measures

Mansioni

• Deliver safe, accurate, and precise radiation therapy under supervision of the team leader and in collaboration with Radiation Oncologists
• Plan, simulate, and deliver treatment in accordance with prescriptions and departmental procedures
• Maintain high standards of patient care, explain procedures and manage potential side effects in coordination with the clinical team
• Contribute to quality assurance, safety reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
