Job summary

Sunshine Coast Health in southeast Queensland invites Radiation Therapists to join the HP Radiation Oncology team. This role delivers routine radiation therapy and contributes to treatment planning as part of a multidisciplinary health care team.

Remuneration is pro rata up to 132,567 AUD per year, with salary rates of 3,067.00–4,453.50 AUD per fortnight or 40.35–58.59 AUD per hour, plus 12.75% superannuation and 17.5% annual leave loading; fixed-term temporary full-time or part-time roles for

Responsibilities

• Provide routine services in a radiation therapy treatment or planning unit/s.
• Apply clinical knowledge and skills to routine decision making under clinical practice supervision, commensurate with experience.
• Adhere to working practices and standards that provide for safely delivered radiation therapy treatment, including; safe operation of equipment to avoid electrical, mechanical or radiation hazard to patients, staff and others.
• Maintaining a sound understanding of all external legislative and internal policies and procedures that impact in the relevant clinical service area.
