Job summary

GenesisCare in Cairns, Queensland is seeking experienced Radiation Therapists to join our team. You will deliver safe, high-quality radiation therapy and work closely with Radiation Oncologists, Physicists and the broader multidisciplinary team, ensuring excellent patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• A recognised qualification in Radiation Therapy and current registration with AHPRA.
• Minimum of 2 years' clinical experience as a Radiation Therapist delivering radiation therapy treatments.
• Sound knowledge of radiation therapy treatment techniques, planning and QA processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety and CPD.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality radiation therapy treatment to patients, ensuring a positive and supportive experience.
• Undertake radiation therapy duties, ensuring safe and accurate delivery per clinical protocols.
• Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists, Medical Physicists and the MDT to deliver excellent outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and development of clinical services.
• Share knowledge with junior Radiation Therapists and graduates, fostering a supportive team environment.
