Job summary

Unilever is seeking an Foods Product Development Lead for ANZ, based in Sydney. You will lead end-to-end Nutrition R&D delivery for iconic brands like Continental, Best Foods, and Hellmann’s, coordinating with manufacturing and packaging teams.

This role focuses on innovation, science communication, and compliant, high-quality product launches across the ANZ region. Located in Sydney, the role reports to the Head of R&D Foods and will drive digital-enabled processes, sustainability and GM

Qualifications

• Experience in product development with processing knowledge.
• Ability to create science communications for external use.
• Experience leading projects, risk management and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to manage external partners and virtual project teams.
• Strong technical insight to provide solutions for product development and optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Be a key R&D member delivering the ANZ Foods programme.
• Drive innovation deployment and technical solutions in factory settings.
• Ensure deployment aligns with project objectives and factory needs.
• Provide technical support to APAC countries as needed.
• Support Gross margin actions and ensure compliance and product safety.
• Engage with consumers and trade partners about science and technology.
