Job description

We are partnering with a large infrastructure organisation looking for a Quantity Surveyor to provide built-construction drawings to convert to data supporting government sites.

The Role

You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate capture and classification of built assets, from as-built drawings converting to data on a Bluebeam or similar system to support lifecycle management and ensure compliance with Federal Government Data standards and informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team up with other project teams to ensure capture and design assets are assembled.
  • Provide estimation of asset data, labelling and spatial data as well as project reporting.
  • Accurately extract and classify asset data from as-constructed drawings for data preparation.
  • Uphold data integrity, consistency, and compliance with Defence estate data requirements.
Requirements
  • Have a qualification or degree in surveying or Construction Management or BIM.
  • Have 5+ years’ experience in the Construction or Architecture sector and BIM Management sectors.
  • 4 years' experience with CAD software and additional knowledge of GIS software.
  • Able to adapt to growing technologies, risk management processes and cybersecurity principles.
