Job summary

Macquarie Group in Sydney is seeking an entry-level quantitative modeller to support the development of funding and liquidity models that meet regulatory requirements and strengthen risk management capabilities.

You will work with stakeholders across product, credit, finance, technology, data and risk to improve balance sheet optimisation, support funding decisions and develop your career within Macquarie’s global Banking and Financial Services Treasury team.

Qualifications

  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in quantitative modelling within financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of statistics and quantitative methods.
  • Degree in mathematics, statistics, engineering or actuarial science.
  • Experience working with stakeholders across teams and contributing to shared outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex modelling concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
