Job summary

Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN) seeks a Quality Safety and Risk Systems Facilitator within the Women’s and Children’s Division to lead quality improvement initiatives, coordinate projects, and strengthen risk governance. • Expertise in clinical governance, risk management and quality improvement with ability to lead change across multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in researching, analysing and interpreting data and formulating change strategies using data tools.
• Extensive experience in project management and quality improvement activities within team and solo work.
• Able to prioritise competing work demands and meet timelines.

About you:

• You are an experienced healthcare professional with a passion for quality, safety and continuous improvement
• You have high level communication skills (oral, written and interpersonal) being able to write reports, briefs and project plans Being able to effectively interact with and engage with a wide range of stakeholders
• You bring expertise in clinical governance, risk management, and quality improvement, together with the ability to lead change and influence practice across multidisciplinary teams
• Researching, analysing and interpreting data (quantitative and qualitative) and formulating suitable change strategies/solutions using relevant data analysis tools
• You have significant experience in a range of project management work and quality improvement activities involving both teamwork and individual effort to achieve significant outcomes
• You can effectively manage competing work demands and ability to prioritise workload and meet set timelines
• You are someone who values collaboration, innovation and continuous learning, and who is motivated by the opportunity to make a genuine difference to patient safety, quality outcomes and service excellence across the Women’s and Children’s Division

This is a single vacancy, with two possible appointment classifications. The successful applicants will be appointed in the position appropriate to their skills, qualifications, and experience.

Please note that this position is multi-classed as either an AHP4 or RN3 and classification will be determined by qualifications and experience.
