Job summary

Techtronic Industries (TTI) Australia is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure incoming products meet stringent quality standards for the ANZ market. You will conduct visual, physical and functional inspections, document findings, and support corrective actions with the Quality, Engineering and Product teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality inspection, quality control, engineering or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects, discrepancies and quality concerns.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to investigate quality issues and implement effective corrective actions.
• Experience maintaining accurate inspection, testing and quality records.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual, physical and functional inspections of incoming products, accessories and equipment.
• Perform product testing using measurement tools and equipment to assess compliance with quality specifications.
• Document inspection results, test outcomes and non-conformances in accordance with established quality procedures.
• Prepare detailed reports and communicate findings to Quality, Engineering, Product Management and other key stakeholders.
• Investigate quality issues, identify root causes and support corrective actions.
• Work closely with warehouse, inventory and inbound teams to support IQC operations.
• Assist with rework projects, including training and supervising temporary staff when required.
• Support process improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency and waste reduction.
• Help maintain safe work practices and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
