Chandler Macleod Group is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to support Baiada’s Hanwood processing facility. The role focuses on maintaining food safety and quality across the site with HACCP, QA and safety programs, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

You will complete checks, maintain records, and collaborate with production teams to resolve issues, contributing to audits and site targets. Immediate start, full-time hours, with a competitive hourly rate and allowances.

About the Role
As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining food safety and quality standards across the processing facility. You will work closely with production teams to ensure compliance with HACCP, QA, and food safety programs while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

• Complete quality and food safety checks throughout the processing facility
• Ensure products meet Baiada's quality standards and specifications
• Monitor compliance with HACCP, GMP, and food safety requirements
• Complete and maintain accurate quality records and documentation
• Assist with investigations into quality issues and corrective actions
• Support internal and external audits
• Work closely with production teams to resolve quality concerns
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the workplace
• Follow all WHS policies and procedures
• Contribute to achieving site quality, food safety, and production targets

Skills & Experience:
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Has experience in poultry processing, food manufacturing, or a similar production environment
• Understands quality and food safety requirements, including HACCP and GMP
• Has a good eye for detail and takes pride in maintaining high standards
• Can complete paperwork and computer-based records accurately
• Communicates well and works effectively with people across different teams
• Can identify issues, think on their feet, and help find practical solutions
• Can manage their workload and work in a fast-paced environment
• Is reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Has a commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
