Job summary

Thomas Foods International in Cavan, SA seeks a QA Manager to lead the quality system and continual improvement on site. The role focuses on daily monitoring of production staff health, hygiene, and conformance with procedures.

You will maintain records, coordinate audits, and liaise with customers to ensure specifications are met, with opportunities for career progression within a secure and supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months experience in a similar field.
• Certificate IV in QA.
• Relevant qualifications in Quality Assurance.
• Proficient with computer applications.
• Organised and detail oriented.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience in Red Meat Quality Assurance.

Responsibilities

• Pre-operational inspection.
• Maintain Quality Records, Product Specifications and other Quality Data.
• Initiate and follow up on the implementation of the Company’s Quality Policy and Documented Quality Management System.
• Routinely liaise with customer quality teams to ensure all specifications are up to date.
• Complete product checks to ensure products meet TFIA & Customer specifications.
• Monitor temperature requirements for storage of products.
• Inspect cartons for compliance to specification and temperature requirements.
• Participate in audits internal and external.
• Collect relevant samples as required.
