Job summary

NEAS is seeking a Quality Assurance Assessor to conduct visits and assessments across Australia and internationally, focusing on homestay and ELT operations. The role involves delivering continuous improvement guidance and helping providers meet industry standards.

This contractor position offers the opportunity to lead special projects and provide consultancy services on ELT best practices. Billing is handled as per the Assessor Agreement.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate TESOL qualification is required.
• Minimum 3 years of ELT or related field management experience.
• Alternatively, minimum 5 years’ management experience in student services, homestay or student accommodation.
• Diploma in Quality Auditing (or equivalent) and/or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or successor.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visits and assessments of homestay providers and ELT operations.
• Provide continuous improvement advice and help maintain industry standards.
• Lead special projects and offer consultancy on ELT best practices.

NEAS is looking for dedicatedQuality Assurance Assessorsto conduct visits and assessments, in Australia and internationally.

If you have experience in homestay management, student accommodation management, school management, compliance, or quality assurance within post-high school education (such as TAFE, ELT, higher education, or private vocational training), we’d love to hear from you!

In this role, you'll be visiting providers in the Homestay and English Language Teaching sector, providing continuous improvement advice and helping maintain and exceed industry standards. You'll also have the opportunity to lead special projects and offer consultancy services, focusing on best practices in ELT. Note that this is a contractor position where you bill us for your time at the rates set out in the Assessor Agreement.

Candidates must have the following:

• a Postgraduate Qualification in TESOL, and
• minimum 3 years management experience in ELT or related field.
• Or:
• minimum 5 years management experience in student services, homestay or student Accommodation
• a Diploma in Quality Auditing (or equivalent), and/or
• a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116), orits successor.
