Job summary

RGM Financial Group seeks a motivated Qualified Accountant to join the Moe team. You will handle tax compliance work, BAS preparation, financial statements and income tax returns, while engaging with clients across diverse industries.

The role requires at least 3 years in public practice, CPA/CA qualifications, and strong Excel and Xero skills. Australian working rights are essential; remote work may be considered subject to approval.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or CA qualified or enrolled.
• At least 3 years of public practice experience.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables), Word, and tax preparation software.
• Strong knowledge of Australian taxation including individual tax returns, BAS preparation, and GST compliance.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based accounting software, particularly Xero (minimum 1 year experience preferred).
• Positive work ethic and possess excellent communication and organisation skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia.

RGM Financial Group provides financial services in both Accounting and Financial Planning with three offices across Gippsland. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic applicant to join our team in the role of a Qualified Accountant to work at our Moe office.

You will be responsible for tax compliance work, preparation of BAS’s, financial statements, income tax returns and client interaction. You will be given the responsibility to manage a number of clients that range from individuals and small to medium businesses operating in a diverse range of industries.

About You
