Job summary

Wild Plumbing is an established Bendigo-based commercial contractor delivering plumbing, roofing and civil works across regional Victoria. We're looking for experienced Qualified Commercial Plumbers and Apprentice Plumbers to join our growing team.

Join us to work from rough-in through final fit-off, reading hydraulic drawings, coordinating with supervisors and trades, and delivering high-quality outcomes on diverse projects while developing hands-on skills on-site.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Plumbing and Victorian plumbing registrations/licences.
• Commercial or construction plumbing experience preferred.
• Construction Induction Card (White Card).
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Reliable, professional and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Pride in producing high-quality work.
• A positive, solutions-focused attitude.
• Turn up with a good attitude, listen, ask questions and genuinely want to learn the trade.

Responsibilities

• Commercial plumbing installations across new builds, upgrades and construction projects.
• Rough-in and fit-off of water, sanitary and drainage services.
• Installation of stormwater, gas and associated hydraulic services.
• Working from hydraulic drawings, construction plans and specifications.
• Coordinating with supervisors, builders and other trades to keep works moving.
• Identifying and resolving installation issues as they arise on site.
• Completing works to relevant Australian Standards, plumbing regulations and project requirements.
• Supporting and providing guidance to apprentices working alongside you.
• Learning commercial plumbing from rough-in through to final fit-off.
• Assisting with the installation of water, sanitary, drainage, stormwater and gas services.
• Learning how to read hydraulic drawings and understand construction plans.
• Developing confidence using plumbing tools, equipment and machinery safely.
• Learning how a commercial construction site operates and how different trades work together.
• Building practical problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Working alongside qualified plumbers who can provide guidance and share their experience.
• Completing your required TAFE/RTO training alongside your practical on-site experience
