Dunstone Bros Plumbing and Roofing in Bendigo, VIC seeks a qualified plumber to join our team for roofing projects and general maintenance plumbing. Immediate start with above award rates and two weeks Christmas break.

Role involves on-site work 7:30AM–4:00PM, Mon-Fri, using ServiceM8 on iPhone, traveling to job sites, liaising with suppliers, and delivering high-quality workmanship.

You will hold a plumbing licence, a current driver’s licence, and be able to pass pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to perform general maintenance plumbing, installations, repairs and fault-finding.
• Experience with roofing and guttering works is desirable.
• Good communication with customers and suppliers while delivering high-quality workmanship.

We’re currently seeking a Qualified Plumber to join our team for an immediate start in our current roofing projects, as well as general maintenance plumbing jobs.

About This Role

7:30AM – 4:00 PM, Mondays to Fridays, you’ll be jumping into your work vehicle provided by Dunstone Bros, clocking-in using ServiceM8 on your IPhone (work phone available), organizing materials and interacting with suppliers, traveling to job sites, and applying problem-solving skills whilst keeping your clients informed.

This role suits someone who enjoys a variety, takes pride in their work, and can work both independently and as part of a team.

You’ll be earning above award rates based on experience and qualifications, accruing annual leave, rostered days off (RDO’s) and other leave types. You may be asked to do an afterhours emergency job based on your availability, earning higher rates. You’ll have two weeks Christmas-holiday break each year with accrued annual leave, and we don't work on public holidays!

As a qualified plumber, you’ll be responsible for carrying out a broad range of plumbing work including:

• General Maintenance plumbing, installations, repairs and fault-finding.
• Roofing and guttering works.
• Hot Water system installation and repairs
• Drainage solutions and blocked drains
• Type-A Appliance Gas Services / Gas fitting
• Communicating with customers in a friendly, reliable, and professional manner.
• Completing jobs safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

You’ll need to hold a current plumbing licence, current drivers licence, provide references from previous employers on your resume/CV (please advise if discretion is preferred if you’re currently employed), be reliable and on-time, have the right to work in Australia – as well as be willing to undergo pre-employment drug & alcohol testing. If you don’t already have your Working With Children’s Check, and Police Check, Dunstone Bros will arrange this with reimbursement upon successful completion.
