About the role
This role is for a trainee dental assistant who already has some real experience behind them. Maybe you have been assisting while you study, or you have started your Certificate III in Dental Assisting and need the right practice to help you complete it. You already know your way around a surgery, and now you want a team that will help you build on what you know.
We will support you through your Certificate III, and our experienced dental assistant trainers will work alongside you as you go. You will keep learning every day, with people around you who want to see you do well.
What your day will look like
Assisting our dentists chairside across a wide range of general dentistry
Setting up surgeries and turning them around between patients
Infection control and sterilisation to a high standard
Helping patients feel comfortable, informed and at ease
Keeping clear and accurate clinical notes
Helping with stock and supplies
Working closely with reception to keep the day running smoothly
What we are looking for
Chairside experience as a dental assistant
Currently studying, or ready to start, your Certificate III in Dental Assisting
A warm, caring nature and a real interest in looking after people
An eye for detail and pride in getting things right
Someone the team can count on
Good communication skills, with patients and with each other
A willingness to keep learning and growing
