Job summary

Childbase Partnership is hiring a Qualified Nursery Practitioner (Level 2+). The role is based at Edwinstowe Day Nursery, Cambridge, CB2 7EB, with permanent contracts and 18–40 hours per week. Shifts run 7:45am–6:00pm, offering full and part-time options.

We welcome qualified early years professionals who will deliver high-quality activities, foster safeguarding, and support children's learning through play alongside parents and colleagues. Right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• You are a qualified early years professional with a DfE approved qualification at level 2 or above.
• You can create opportunities for learning through play and plan engaging activities.
• You uphold safeguarding for every child and promote wellbeing.
• You collaborate effectively with children, parents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement high-quality, engaging activities that promote learning through play.
• Observe, assess and record children's progress and development.
• Work as a Key Person to support individual learning journeys.
• Communicate with parents and team to ensure consistency and progress.
