Job summary

Partou Little Stars Day Nursery & Pre-school in Glossop is seeking a Level 2/3 qualified nursery practitioner to join as Lunchtime Cover Assistant (15 hours/week). You’ll support learning and development, foster safe, inclusive care, and partner with families while staff take their lunch break.

Nursery Lunchtime Cover Assistant – Partou Little Stars Day Nursery & Pre-school

Glossop, Greater Manchester | Part-Time | Permanent

Salary £12.76 per hour

About The Role

Partou Little Stars Day Nursery is seeking a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualified nursery practitioner to take on the flexible 15 hours per week role of Lunchtime Cover Assistant. You will work towards ensuring children engage in stimulating activities that support their learning and development in line with the EYFS. You will provide exceptional care and compassion towards the children, maintain a safe and inclusive environment, and build strong partnerships with childcare colleagues and families. You'll play a key role in supporting our nursery team, stepping in to provide cover while our staff enjoy their well-deserved lunch break. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys the bustling energy of a nursery setting and thrives in a supportive role.
