City of Geelong is seeking a Fixed Term Full Time Turf Maintenance worker to maintain golf courses, turf wickets and sports grounds in Kardinia Park.
You will operate and maintain horticultural equipment, follow safety policies, and support turf programs. Applicants should have Certificate 3 in Horticulture (Turf Management) and a valid Victorian Driver's Licence.

In this role, you will be expected to carry out allocated tasks to specified standards, to meet customer and divisional expectations for high quality turf maintenance of Councils specialised turf areas, including golf courses, turf wickets and sports ground maintenance.

About youTo be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience in maintenance of golf courses and turf areas to a high standard and are proficient in the use of herbicides, insecticides, pesticides and fungicides and the ability to work as part of a team. Wicket preparation experience desired, however not essential.
