Job summary

Crossmuller is looking for an experienced carpenter to take on Leading Hand responsibilities on commercial projects. You will interpret detailed plans, supervise small teams, coordinate with trades, and ensure high-quality workmanship while meeting deadlines.

This full-time position offers consistent overtime, ongoing training, and career development within a family-owned company known for its values and local project impact.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial carpentry (minimum 3 years preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret detailed construction plans.
• White Card (mandatory).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Leadership experience for Leading Hand role.

• Lead small teams on-site and ensure quality standards.
• Assist in scheduling, materials planning, and job tracking.
