Job summary

Ayers Automotive, a family-owned Brookvale business specialising in Land Rover vehicles, seeks a Qualified Automotive Technician to join a premium-brand service team. You’ll service, diagnose, and repair Land Rovers with access to factory tools in a collaborative workshop.

Ideal candidates have Land Rover experience, hold a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, and at least 3 years’ experience.

Qualifications

• Hold a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent recognised automotive trade qualification).
• Minimum 3 years experience.
• Hold a current, valid driver’s licence.
• Have good diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Land Rover experience is preferred.
• Well-rounded mechanics who are keen to learn will also be considered.
• Be reliable, honest and take pride in your workmanship.
• Have a good attitude and work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintenance and repairs on Land Rover vehicles.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults.
• Carrying out quality repairs and maintenance.
• Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults.
• Working independently while being part of a supportive team.

Ayers Automotive is seeking a Qualified Automotive Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to work with premium vehicles and showcase your technical expertise. Ideally, you’ll have experience working with Land Rovers, but we’re also happy to consider a good all-round mechanic with solid knowledge & skills who is keen to learn more about the brand.

What we offer

$80,000–$95,000 per year plus super, depending on experience

An achievable production bonus paid weekly, on top of your base salary

Monday to Friday — no weekend work

About the role
