Job summary

Connect Hearing, part of Sonova, invites an experienced QP Audiologist or Audiometrist to join our Armadale clinic in Western Australia. This permanent full-time role runs Monday to Friday and focuses on delivering exceptional patient care with access to advanced hearing technology.

You will assess hearing loss, report results, recommend amplification or implants, and provide counselling and rehabilitation. A collaborative team environment with ongoing professional development awaits.

Qualifications

• University Audiology qualification or TAFE Audiometry Qualification
• Full AudA/ACAud HAASA membership with current QP number or eligibility
• Solid audiological skills and knowledge

Responsibilities

We have a great opportunity for an experienced and passionate QP Audiologist or Audiometrist at our hearing clinic in Armadale, Western Australia.

Join our team in a modern, recently upgraded clinic equipped with contemporary facilities and technology, designed to support both exceptional patient care and Clinician success.

This is a permanent full-time position, working Monday-Friday.

What will you be doing?

• Assessing and diagnosing the extent of client hearing loss using a wide range of techniques, including audiometric tests
• Reporting results of assessments and tests in writing and making referrals to medical practitioners
• Recommending solutions to those with hearing impairment including amplification, implantable devices, medical interventions and assistive listening devices and providing aural rehabilitation programs
• Providing counselling, advice and information to clients and families as a part of overall treatment
• Assisting with the development and management of noise control and hearing conservation strategies
• Providing treatment and management of hearing and communication disorders that may be age related, part of a disability, or acquired as a result of injury or disease

What do you need to be successful in this role?

• University Audiology qualification or TAFE Audiometry Qualification
• Full membership of AudA or ACAud inc. HAASA and current QP number (or eligibility)
• Solid audiological skills and knowledge
• Excellent levels of customer care and service, and a passion for delivering an amazing client experience
• Ability to learn and understand new software with training
• Proven ability to achieve KPI's
• Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to continued professional development
• Good team working skills
• Ability to network with GP's and other allied health professionals
