Job summary

Willmot Construction Recruitment is seeking a Senior Safety Coordinator for Brisbane and the Gold Coast. The role focuses on managing and improving safety systems, culture, and compliance across QLD operations, with two site safety advisors reporting in.

You will liaise with the National Safety Manager and QLD General Manager, balancing office and site duties. Key requirements include a Certificate IV in WHS, experience driving HSEQ improvements in building projects, and proficiency in Procore

Qualifications

• Lead and improve safety culture across multiple sites.
• Manage QLD safety team and site advisors.
• Ensure adherence to WHSE policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inductions and audits.
• Review and approve sub-contractor safety docs.
• Coach staff on legislation, procedures and systems.
• Build rapport with site managers to promote safety best practice.
• Drive safety improvements across the business.
• Support move to State Safety Manager within 12 months.
