Job summary

DRD Group is seeking a Senior Quality Advisor to join a Perth-based project team supporting delivery of major energy and resources projects. The role focuses on providing practical quality guidance across activities, ensuring compliance with standards and driving quality outcomes with project, engineering, procurement and commissioning teams.

You will review technical documentation, coordinate inspections and audits, identify risks and implement controls while promoting a positive quality

Qualifications

• Electrical background or equivalent with strong quality experience.
• Experience in energy, resources or major project environments.
• Knowledge of international engineering standards.
• Experience reviewing technical documents and quality requirements.
• Experience with inspections, audits and risk assessments.

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Quality Advisor to join a Perth-based project team supporting the delivery of major energy and resources projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical quality guidance and support across major project activities.
• Work closely with project, engineering, contractor and supplier teams to achieve quality outcomes.
• Review technical documentation and quality deliverables for equipment and material packages.
• Identify quality risks and support appropriate controls throughout project delivery.
• Coordinate quality inspections, audits and follow-up actions.
• Monitor quality performance and provide clear reporting to key stakeholders.
• Promote consistent quality standards and a positive quality culture across projects.

Experience Required

• An electrical background is highly regarded, however candidates from other disciplines with strong quality experience are encouraged to apply.
• Proven experience in quality roles within energy, resources or major project environments.
• Strong understanding of quality requirements across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
• Working knowledge of relevant Australian and international engineering standards.
• Experience reviewing technical documentation, equipment and material quality requirements.
• Exposure to quality inspections, testing, audits and risk assessments.
• Experience working with contractors, suppliers and OEMs.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and attention to detail.
• Relevant engineering qualification or trade background.
