Job summary

Xpt Software Australia Pty seeks a software engineer to develop web apps using Python with 5+ years’ experience and UI work in Angular or React. You will join a cross-functional team to design, test, and deliver scalable features.

Collaborating to implement tests, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and apply design patterns, you’ll build robust services on AWS, Docker, and relational/noSQL databases, ensuring quality and maintainability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in Python development.
• Frontend experience with Angular or React.
• Proficiency in HTML/CSS/TypeScript/ Bootstrap.
• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitLab).
• Familiarity with design patterns and cloud/Docker basics.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and testing.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a cross functional team with the Product Owner on user stories and testing.
• Collaborate to implement features, write tests, and deliver product functionality.
• Coordinate with teams to resolve tech dependencies during implementation.
• Refactor complex scripts and ensure adherence to standards and quality.
