Sutherland Shire Council is seeking a dynamic Leader for Public Relations and Media to steer a high-performing team in developing strategic PR and media plans. You will work with the Mayor and senior leaders to shape messaging, protect the council's image, manage reputational risks, and provide crisis communication expertise to a diverse stakeholder base.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• Experience in strategic public relations within a diverse organisation.
• Proven ability to manage media responses during crisis situations.
• Exceptional writing and communication skills for diverse audiences.

• Provide strategic leadership in public relations and media management to enhance the Council's public image and brand awareness.
