Tweed Shire Council in Murwillumbah is seeking a hands-on Facilities Cleaner to maintain toilets, showers and electric barbecues across the Shire, travelling in a Council vehicle to keep areas clean and safe.

You will work independently, report maintenance or safety issues, and apply a safety‑conscious approach while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. A current Australian Driver Licence and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience cleaning public toilet facilities or similar amenities.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Ability to work independently with initiative and manage competing priorities.

Responsabilités

• Maintain toilets, showers and electric barbecues across the Shire.
• Travel between sites in a Council-provided vehicle.
• Identify and report maintenance or safety issues to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
• Respond to situations with initiative while upholding WHS requirements.
