Job summary

LUXXE Outsourced Hotel Services in Australia is seeking a Casual Public Area Cleaner to help create a clean, welcoming environment across our hotels.

You'll work with the housekeeping team to clean public areas, lobbies, corridors, and facilities, on a rotating roster with morning and afternoon shifts, four days a week, and Australian working rights.

Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is preferred; a positive attitude and reliability are valued as part of a friendly hotel team.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to commit to at least 4 days a week on a rotating roster
• Full Australian working rights

The Role

As a Casual Public Area Cleaner, you’ll play an important role in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for hotel guests.

Working closely with the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning and maintaining hotel public areas to a high standard
• Ensuring guest areas, corridors, lobbies and facilities are clean, tidy and well-presented
• Keeping housekeeping equipment clean and in good working order
• Assisting guests with requests where possible
• Working as part of a friendly and supportive hotel housekeeping team

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is preferred
• Genuine pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness and presentation
