Job summary

ALH Hotels is seeking an Assistant Manager to keep our venues buzzing and loved by locals. This hands-on role supports the Publican, leads a team, and helps run the pub safely with a great vibe. You’ll be the face of the pub when the boss is away, manage daily operations, and handle hiccups before they become headaches.

RSA and RSG/RCG are required; bar, bistro, or gaming-room experience is preferred. If you’re keen to learn, lead, and laugh, we’d love to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Current RSA and RSG/RCG as per state requirements.
• Experience in bar, bistro, or gaming room and some supervising.
• Ability to lead a team and be the face of the pub when the boss is away.
• Comfort with manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties.

Responsibilities

• Get to know locals and be part of the crew.
• Support the Publican to run the pub smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe.
• Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends.
• Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches.
• Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift.
